To become a seller on MsanziMarket, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Provide accurate personal or business information
- Provide a valid South African ID or passport
- Provide bank account details for payouts
- Agree to all MsanziMarket marketplace policies
MsanziMarket reserves the right to approve or reject any vendor application at its sole discretion.
2. Seller Account Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for:
- Keeping account information accurate
- Protecting login credentials
- Managing their products and inventory
Vendors may not create multiple seller accounts without permission.
3. Product Listing Rules
All products listed must:
- Be legal to sell in South Africa
- Have accurate descriptions
- Use real product images
- Display the correct price
- Be in good condition
Prohibited listings include:
- Counterfeit products
- Illegal items
- Stolen goods
- Adult or explicit material
- Dangerous or restricted products
MsanziMarket may remove listings that violate these rules.
4. Pricing & Fees
Vendors set their own product prices.
MsanziMarket charges a commission on each successful sale.
Commission structure:

- Commission is automatically deducted from the order payment.
The vendor receives the remaining balance after the commission deduction.
5. Order Fulfilment & Shipping
Vendors are responsible for packaging and shipping their own products unless otherwise specified.
Seller obligations:
- Ship orders within 2 business days
- Provide a valid tracking number
- Use reliable courier services such as

Pargo
Failure to ship orders on time may result in account warnings or suspension.
6. Returns & Refunds
Vendors must accept returns according to the marketplace return policy.
Returns may occur when:
- Item is damaged
- Item is incorrect
- Item is significantly different from description
Customers may request returns within 7–14 days after delivery.
Refunds may be processed after the returned item is received and inspected.
7. Vendor Performance Standards
To maintain a good selling environment, vendors must:
- Maintain good customer ratings
- Keep order cancellation rates low
- Ship orders on time
- Provide responsive customer service
Vendors who repeatedly fail to meet these standards may face:
- Product removal
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
8. Prohibited Seller Activities
Vendors may not:
- Sell counterfeit goods
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Mislead customers
- Cancel orders unnecessarily
- Attempt to move transactions outside the marketplace
Any fraudulent activity may lead to immediate account termination.
9. Payments & Vendor Payouts
Customer payments are processed securely by approved payment providers such as:
Vendor earnings are paid to the registered bank account.
Payout schedule:

10. Marketplace Rights
MsanziMarket reserves the right to:
- Remove products that violate marketplace policies
- Suspend or terminate vendor accounts
- Modify marketplace policies when necessary
Vendors will be notified of major policy changes.
11. Limitation of Liability
MsanziMarket provides a platform connecting buyers and sellers.
Vendors remain responsible for:
- Product quality
- Shipping
- Customer service related to their products.
12. Agreement
By registering as a vendor on MsanziMarket, the seller confirms that they:
- Have read and understood these rules
- Agree to comply with marketplace policies
- Accept the commission structure and operational guidelines
